What We
Offer

Chair Yoga

Join us for chair yoga where we incorporate all the traditional yoga poses into a class where you can choose to sit, stand, or use the chair for balance. Choose the right amount of support for you as we focus on improving strength, mobility, flexibility and balance.

Gentle Yoga

Ease into your morning with a no pressure practice, designed to kindly wake up the body & ground yourself for the day ahead. A slow-paced class with mindful transitions and plenty of rest between poses. Accessible for beginners or those seeking a softer practice, while still offering optional challenges for strength and stability.

Hatha Yoga

This unique Sivananda Hatha yoga class blends the rich traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism. This class integrates ancient techniques with modern mindfulness practices, focusing on meditation, breath control, and the pursuit of inner peace. In Hinduism, yoga is viewed as a path to spiritual enlightenment, aiming to unite the individual soul with the divine. Meanwhile, Buddhism emphasizes mindfulness and the cessation of suffering through meditation and ethical living.

Our class structure includes a brief discussion on the theoretical aspects, followed by guided breath work (Pranayama), chanting, and meditation (Dhyana). We then move into a series of yoga postures (Asanas) to stretch and strengthen the body, concluding with a relaxation phase.

This holistic approach, inspired by the Sivananda tradition, aims to provide a comprehensive experience, integrating the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, you will find value in this harmonious blend of ancient traditions.

It begins with a gentle warm up that gradually builds to a well rounded and invigorating vinyasa flow and ends with a relaxing Savasana. The class changes from week to week but always includes a full body workout that focuses on core strength, posture, and alignment.

This class offers clear, detailed instruction with hands-on assists to help you find optimal alignment and get the most out of each movement. It is ideal for beginners looking to learn Pilates safely and correctly, as well as experienced students who want to refine technique, deepen understanding, and reconnect with the fundamentals.

"Absolutely wonderful class. Totally different than any experience I have had with yoga before. I loved this teacher's approach and energy. We will definitely be returning for this class. As someone with chronic pain and asthma, having someone repeat that my body is capable and that I am safe while doing these exercises is *exactly* what I need to help my nervous system settle down and trust movement again."
